Soon, there would be some major changes for the better, with the advent of the 8-bit consoles, but even that can’t compete with what FIFA has done for sports video games – and the serious core gamers.} If you think we’re going too far, check this one out – looks better, but still is pretty dicey.} Yeah, now there are new options, like six teams to select from, five skill levels, and game length… and that’s about it. Hope you’re not too disturbed by looking at those archaic video games. To ease the pain, take another look at FIFA 10, a sports video game as it should be.} And as you are being keen on that feeling, compose a thank-you note or something to EA, for taking notice to hardcore gamers and granting you the kind of soccer video game that will occupy your attention for a lasting, long-standing time. There was no Manager Mode, no Total Football Experience, no Virtual Pro. Then, of course, there was no online gaming in those days, a true tragedy for the gaming community.} If that’s what you were seeking out, you were going to have to put that on hold. And it would be on hold for a long ass time, because along with the online play, sports games in the 80s were lacking everything else you needed – graphics, audio, game play… hell, even box art was crude.

FIFA 10, however, is something entirely different than the past, a video game that’s really changed everything.} The game is a monster hit, Europe’s fastest selling sports game ever – 1.7 million copies sold during the first week alone.} Naturally, the video game world was fairly convinced that would occur.} But the reviews themselves match the enthusiasm of the gamers who raced out to own this one.} They’re all saying the same thing: “FIFA’s best ever game play” and “greatest soccer game ever made” are standard refrains in all the major FIFA 10 reviews.} And as soon as playing FIFA 10, you will be alleging the unchanged thing, persistently, to everybody who will pay attention. It’s a transformative experience, seeing the video game avatars dash across the playing field as they dribble the ball and face off against their adversaries.} The level of detail is so great that you won’t be able to tell the difference between a real soccer game and FIFA 10.} Once again, we’re indebted to the geniuses responsible for FIFA 10, EA, who’ve done it again. EA has upped their standards again with FIFA 10, and once again, you, the hardcore gamers are the big winners for their hard efforts.} Player intelligence has really helped set this game aside from the pack – unlike the previous FIFA games, the players stay focused on the ball. With the intelligence upgrade, your teammates have probably become smarter than most of your real-life buds.} Also it is not merely the ordinary team members who’ve turned into brighter – as a result of improved goalie intelligence, the goalkeepers have also developed into higher teammates.} Goalkeepers have even more in common with their real-life counterparts – they’re faster, and more effective when going after loose balls.} As with all the soccer players, the goalkeepers’ AI has been given a shot in the arm, with the ability to swat the ball from the goal line, along with some other tricks.} No more are the instances of you howling at your PS3, cursing your goalie for a stupid mistake – no more botch ups equals no more meltdowns.} Once again, FIFA 10 gives you a wide variety of stadiums to play your matches at. Everything a gamer could want is featured here: real stadiums, fake stadiums, practice arenas, different weather.} All these variables keep things from getting stale, and will no doubt tide you hardcore gamers over until the next FIFA game.} PS3 FIFA fanaticism is racing as fast as the soccer players sprinting through the field. FIFA 10 will always be number one with the fans, as far as PS3 sports video games go. You’ll walk away with more than a few trophies when you play video games for money, and prove your FIFA dominance to the video game world.
